How our service works

 
When you call Friendly Home Buddies we arrange for a FREE visit to your home to:

         ·   Meet you and your pets

·   Get detailed information about caring for your pets and your home

·   Get veterinary release signature

·   Pick up a door key

·   Complete a service agreement

During this visit you decide how often you want your sitter to visit each day and what services you want performed.

 
Each visit to your home includes:

       ·   LOTS OF TENDER LOVING CARE

·   Fresh food and water

·   Exercising and playing with your animals; brushing and combing if applicable

·   Giving medications and other special care

·   Arranging for medical treatment in case of illness

·   Indoor cleanup of pet messes, if needed

·   For cats:  meticulous litter box maintenance

Home Care:

       ·   Bringing in mail  and newspapers

·   Adjusting drapes and lights

·   Watering indoor plants (must be left in a central location)

·   Bringing trash can in or out

Mid-day/Daily Dog Care:

     ·   Regular daily scheduled mid-day dog visits will be sometime between 11 am and 2  pm.

      ·   Each mid-day visit will be 20 minutes.

      ·   Your dog will be able to go for a walk or  play in fenced yard at your request.

 Mid-day/daily visits are only available Monday through Friday and are not available on major holidays.

 
Hours of Service:

 
Generally, we are unable to accommodate specific time requests for any visit. 

 
Dogs:  AM visits will be some time between 7 and 9 am.

PM visits will be some time between 3 and 6 pm

Evening visits will be some time between 7 and 9 pm

Daily mid-day visits will be some time between 11 and 2 pm

NOTE:  Dog visits will never be more than 10 hours apart

 
Cats:  Cats will be visited at approximately the same time each day some time between 10 am and 4 pm. Except for emergencies, all cats will be visited before 10 am or after 4 pm.

To Arrange for Service:

Please contact us as far in advance as possible.  We suggest at least two weeks notice but we will attempt to accommodate last minute requests.  Remember we must have an initial consultation prior to beginning service.
